You should totally go find his address and send some pics of this to him I bet he would love it :3
Haha, thank you :3 I'd probably freak out if he ever found out about this. I'm much more comfortable as a lurker
OMG that was soo wonderful to see the different stages...Tank you so very Much for sharing!! MMmmhHHH Really Gorgeous, would Love having/making something so Lovely....Including your Talent for Sushi ...I'm a Fan of that also
Absolutely beautiful! I wish I had the resources to do this
Thank you Well, apart from the special, heavy duty oven one can easily do this at home... Or do it as I did, enrol to a art school just to get access to fancy equipment...
That is freaking amazing.
My pleasure. And I can fully appreciate just how hard the human face is to mold...in my art class, we had to do this project making a 3-D copy of King Tut's death mask. I got so frustrated with mine that I spent literally hours doodling in the area around his clavicle instead of shaping lips.
Oh yes. The eyes are the hardest part for me. I usually have to redo them at least three times (well, I say usually). Procrastinating is awesome though.
It is. (In the end, Tut had no ears or mouth. I tried to make up some crap about symbolism of the silence beyond the grave, but I still got points docked.)
Wow! Such a lot of work! I'm so impressed.
Absolutely fabulous, darling!
Absolutely fascinating! I knew nothing about the process you show here and I (admit) I have never cared much for sculpture, but your tutorial is amazing and the end result is gorgeous.
